Primary Services

Consultations

During a dental consultation with our practice, we will discuss and address any concerns you have for your oral health. A consultation helps us determine the right treatment options for you and helps you better understand the procedures we would recommend.

Wellness Visits/Cleanings

It is generally recommended that you attend regular dental appointments every six months or so. These appointments help us monitor your oral health and allow us to treat any problem in its early stages. Regular appointments are important for patients of every age.

Oral Care Counseling

With so many at-home oral care products on the market, it can be difficult to find the products you need. Our team will provide you with recommendations for toothbrushes, flossers, toothpaste, and other products to help you maintain a healthy at-home routine.

Root Canals

If a cavity reached the pulp (living tissue) of a tooth, a root canal is necessary to preserve your oral health and save the tooth. During this procedure the diseased pulp is removed and the interior of the tooth is disinfected and then filled with special, medicated materials. To restore the tooth to full function, a crown, bridge, or bonded post may be applied.

Periodontal Evaluations

During a periodontal evaluation, we will examine your gums and search for any signs of gum disease. Gum disease can have a negative effect on your oral health and overall health. It is linked to heart disease and strokes and can also result in bone loss, which can loosen your teeth and eventually cause tooth loss.

Deep Cleanings/Scaling & Root Planing

This is an effective, non-invasive way to treat gum disease. Scaling involves removing tartar from the surface of the tooth; root planing is the process of smoothing out root surfaces and removing infected tooth surfaces. Root planing can help reduce the need for surgical gum disease treatments.
