Get to Know the Pebble Creek Story
Established in Summer 1974 by Dr. Ron Segebarth, Pebble Creek Family Dentistry provides patients of every age with caring, compassionate and advanced treatments. Dr. Segebarth and his team practiced in our first location for almost six years before moving in January 1980 to our current office on North Main Street. Shortly thereafter, the practice name was changed to Pebble Creek Family Dentistry.
In 2005, Dr. Suzanne Segebarth Spencer (daughter of Dr. Segebarth) joined the practice, and a year later, Dr. Tim King joined our team. After four years of working together, Drs. Spencer and King took over practice ownership in 2010. Dr. Segebarth is now retired. He currently works locum tenen when Drs. Spencer and King are out of town.

Suzanne Segebarth Spencer, DMD
Dr. Suzanne Segebarth Spencer was born in Madisonville, KY. She initially began her dental career in 1996 as a dental assistant. Dr. Spencer earned her doctorate in dental medicine from the prestigious University of Kentucky School of Dentistry in 2005. Prior to attending the University of Kentucky, Dr. Spencer received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Transylvania University (Lexington, KY).
Timothy King, DMD
Dr. Timothy J. King grew up in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky and graduated from Bremen High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Kentucky, and Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry. Dr. King also served in the United States Army for ten years where he worked in the dental field in Texas, Kansas, and Germany. He joined Pebble Creek Family Dentistry in 2006.

With a commitment to delivering the highest level of up-to-date, comprehensive and compassionate dental care, Dr. Spencer joined her father, Dr. Segebarth in practice in 2005. Dedicated to staying current and proficient with leading edge dentistry, she has incorporated some of the most advanced dental technology (link to technology page) and techniques into her practice, and participates regularly in continuing education and advanced training courses throughout the country. She has a special interest in esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Spencer enjoys spending time outside the office with her family. She and her husband Brian have three children. When she’s not driving her children to their many activities and commitments, Dr. Spencer enjoys traveling, boating, and camping. She also helps lead her daughters’ Girl Scout troop and serves on the Weekday Activities Board and Board of Trustees at Madisonville First United Methodist Church.
Meet Timothy King, DMD

Dr. King is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for his patients. He is a highly trained clinician who provides patients with the most modern dental advancements, and continues to attend professional trainings throughout Kentucky and the United States to enhance his skills. He has advanced training in Conscious Sedation through the University of Kentucky, and has an Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. Dr. King’s main objective is to help his patients to be comfortable. Through caring and gentle dentistry, Dr. King is here to serve you. Dr. King and his wife, Shannon, a Spanish teacher, have two young children. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, and playing guitar in his church band.
